Corn Starter Program:

Apply 10-15 lbs. N-Rich per acre in 5 or more gallons of water. Apply products in the furrow. Always apply a sufficient amount of Nitrogen according to your yield potential. A soil test is recommended to identify any nutrient deficiencies and pH levels of the soil. This test will provide the information needed to recommend the correct N-Rich starter and foliar program

Foliar Application for Corn:

  • The first foliar application should be applied at the 3 to 4 leaf stage

  • A second foliar application can be applied at early silk

Starter--

N-Rich at 10-15 lbs. per acre

Foliar--

N-Rich 20-14-12-6 at 10 lbs. per acre at the 3 to 4 leaf stage

Soybean starter program:

Apply 5-12 lbs. N-Rich per acre in 5 or more gallons of water. Apply product in furrow. N-Rich is made of the highest quality technical grade products with the lowest salt content of any fertilizer on the market today. All our products are seed safe. N-Rich applied in the furrow enables roots to be in contact with applied starter during critical early growth stages.

N-Rich starters applied in furrow greatly decrease early growth stage diseases such as Iron Chlorosis.

Foliar Application for Soybeans:

Foliar application fertilizer is one of the most efficient methods of supplying essential nutrients to your crops.

Foliar applications have been shown the best response when made twice during the seed filling period. Yield increases resulted not from bigger seeds, but more seeds due to seeds developing that otherwise may have aborted due to a lack of nutrition. Earlier application are essential for correcting Chlorosis or Poor Nodulation.

Timing:

Early application of N-Rich 20-14-12-6 can be made at V3 to V4

Later applications of N-Rich 20-14-12-6 or N-Rich 11-28-18 can be made at R2 to R4.

The importance of soil pH:

Soil pH has a major impact on nutrient availability. Soil pH that is too high or too low can seriously affect your yields.

Availability of soil nutrients to a plant decrease as the width of the bar decreases. Soil pH is a key factor in regulating nutrient supply. Therefore, N-Rich should be used as an insurance program against possible trace element deficiencies when aiming for higher yields.

Soil pH Effect on Corn:

- If a soil pH of 5.0 gives 73% of a potential bu/A corn crop, that represents a 54 bu/A loss of genetic yield potential

Soil pH Effect on Soybeans:

- If a soil pH of 5.0 gives 79% of a potential bu/A soybean crop, that represents a 10.5 bu/A loss of genetic yield potential
